Where InsertLead is going — and where every dollar goes

We built InsertLead on transparency. No markup on Twilio, no markup on AI, no surprise fees. Here's exactly what your $49/month covers, what we're shipping next, and how our math compares to the rest of the industry.

What $49/month covers today

Full CRM + inbox

Kanban pipeline (Cold, Warm, Hot, Follow-up), conversation view with full history, Ctrl+K jump search across every lead and every message.

AI autoresponder

Claude reads every inbound reply, scores intent, extracts motivation and timeline over the conversation, hands hot leads back to you with a bridge text. Bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic key — we markup $0.

Compliance-locked campaigns

Ten A2P 10DLC-safe intro templates rotate per lead. Or run AI campaign mode that generates a unique first-touch per recipient within the carrier-compliance rules.

Quiet-hours queue

AI replies that would land between 9 PM and 8 AM local time are held in a queue and drained at 1/sec when the window ends. Never wake up a lead at 2 AM.

Lead dedup + imports

2,000 imports per month. Re-running a campaign on a fresh CSV never double-texts the same person. Name + address dedup scoped to your account.

Mobile-ready

Works from your phone's browser. No app install. The inbox is built for replying on the go.

Where your $49 goes

The cost breakdown per subscription

Line itemPer user, per month
Stripe payment processing — 2.9% + $0.30 per charge~$1.72
Railway hosting — shared across all customers< $1.00
Software development, maintenance, and supportthe rest
Total you pay$49.00

Stripe fees and hosting numbers are pulled straight from stripe.com/pricing and railway.com/pricing. We don't mark either one up.

What we don't markup

  • Twilio SMS. Every text you send bills to your Twilio account at Twilio's published carrier rate. We never see the money.
  • AI API calls. Claude and GPT tokens bill to your Anthropic or OpenAI account. We never see the money.
  • Phone numbers. You buy them from Twilio directly. We don't resell.
  • Voice minutes (when voice ships). Same pass-through model.

Why we're $49–$399 when everyone else is $100–$1,500

Most real-estate SMS platforms bundle your messaging cost into their subscription — they buy Twilio (or a competitor) wholesale and resell it to you with a margin. That's why their prices are so much higher. InsertLead never touches your SMS bill, so our subscription is just the software.

InsertLead now ships in five tiers: Starter $49 (the only one open in beta), Growth $99, Scale $199, Empire $399, and Monolith (custom). Each tier scales rotating phone numbers and daily SMS so deliverability stays healthy as volume grows. See full tier breakdown →

What's coming next

In development

Browser voice & voicemail

Dial leads from your browser through your Twilio number. Inbound voicemail with transcription and call history. Reuses your existing Twilio SMS number — no second purchase. You'll pay Twilio voice minutes direct, no markup.

Planned

Annual billing

Pay once a year for a discount off the monthly rate. Deferred at launch to keep Stripe plumbing simple; coming once we have enough users to justify adding the second Price ID.

Planned

Team accounts

Invite a VA or partner to help you respond to leads. Role-based permissions so they can handle the inbox without seeing your Twilio credentials.

Considering

Scheduled campaigns

Queue a campaign to send at a specific time (e.g., 10 AM local on Tuesday) instead of the moment you click Send.

Considering

Direct integrations

Podio, Propstream, REIkit, GoHighLevel — sync leads in both directions without CSV round-trips. Prioritized by what paying users ask for first.

Considering

Public API + webhooks

Let you hit your own data programmatically. Hook InsertLead into Zapier, n8n, or your own scripts.

Statuses: In development means actively being built. Planned is on the next-quarter list. Considering is under evaluation and prioritized by paying-user demand.

Missing something?

The roadmap is driven by what wholesalers actually ask for. Post a feature request on the public forums — everyone can see it and upvote, and it goes to the top of the queue when paying users second the motion.
