What's included in InsertLead Assist onboarding?

Assist onboarding is a $29 one-time service: you bring a Twilio account and an Anthropic key, we log in with temporary access, wire the webhooks, register Twilio against InsertLead, and smoke-test your first send so you know it works end-to-end. You still own the A2P registration and the numbers; we just handle the technical glue. Best fit for wholesalers who can sign up for Twilio but find webhook configuration intimidating.

What Assist includes (and excludes)

Includes:

  • We configure Twilio webhook URLs to point at InsertLead's inbound endpoints (SMS + voice).
  • We paste your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and sending phone number into your InsertLead Settings.
  • We paste your Anthropic API key into your InsertLead Settings.
  • We run a smoke-test campaign of 1-3 messages to a test number you provide, end to end, including AI autoresponder verification.
  • 30-minute follow-up call (video or phone, your choice) to walk through the inbox UI.

Does NOT include:

  • A2P 10DLC Brand + Campaign registration. You file that yourself or pick Full Setup for that piece.
  • Buying Twilio phone numbers on your behalf. You buy them in your own Twilio Console.
  • Custom AI prompt tuning beyond the platform defaults.
  • Hosting a compliance trust page (Full Setup includes this).

How the process works

  1. You request Assist via the form (or email insrtlead@gmail.com).
  2. You complete A2P 10DLC registration in Twilio yourself (Brand + Campaign with Fast Track). This usually approves in 3-5 business days. You can do this BEFORE or AFTER booking Assist; we'll wait.
  3. Once your Twilio is A2P-approved and you have at least one phone number, we send you a Twilio invite link. You add us as a temporary user with API access to your Twilio account.
  4. We configure webhooks, paste credentials into your InsertLead Settings, and run the smoke test.
  5. We remove our access from your Twilio account.
  6. 30-minute follow-up call.

How temporary access works (security)

Twilio has built-in support for adding additional users to your account with role-based permissions and an expiration date. We use that flow:

  • You add us as a "Developer" role with an expiration of 7 days.
  • That role can configure webhooks and read your Account SID + Auth Token, but can't move money or buy expensive resources without your explicit re-approval.
  • After we wire things up (~2 hours of work spread over 1-2 business days), we ask you to manually remove our user.
  • If you forget, the role auto-expires after 7 days.

We never ask you to share your Twilio password or your Anthropic console password. The Twilio temporary user is the only access we need. If you'd rather paste the credentials yourself, that works too — we can guide you through the webhook setup over a screen-share without ever logging in.

Timeline

  • Days 1-5: You file A2P 10DLC. We wait.
  • Day after A2P approval: You invite us to Twilio. We wire everything.
  • Same day or next business day: Smoke test runs. You confirm it worked.
  • Within the week: 30-minute follow-up call.

Total elapsed: 5-7 business days from first contact to "you're sending real campaigns."

When Assist fits vs Self-Serve vs Full Setup

  • Pick Self-Serve if you're comfortable with technical setup and have done a Twilio webhook before. Free.
  • Pick Assist if Twilio's UI is unfamiliar and you want a human to do the technical webhook step for you, but you're fine handling A2P 10DLC paperwork yourself. $29 one-time.
  • Pick Full Setup if A2P 10DLC paperwork feels intimidating and you'd rather we file it correctly the first time, plus we host a compliance trust page on your behalf. $149 one-time.
