What does A2P 10DLC actually cost on top of InsertLead?

Setting up Twilio for the first time costs about $71 upfront for A2P 10DLC registration, plus ~$10/month for campaign maintenance and ~$1.15/month per phone number. The $71 upfront breakdown

Twilio bills A2P 10DLC fees directly to your Twilio account. Sourced to Twilio's A2P 10DLC pricing, current April 2026.

  • Brand registration: $4.50 one-time. Registers your business (LLC or sole proprietor) with the carrier registry under your EIN.
  • Campaign registration: $15 one-time. Registers your specific use case (real estate wholesaling outreach) for review.
  • Secondary Vetting: $41.50 one-time. Carrier-side identity verification. Required for "Standard" trust tier, which is what most wholesalers want.
  • Fast Track: $3 one-time. Optional but strongly recommended — pushes your application to a priority queue.

Total: $4.50 + $15 + $41.50 + $3 = $64. Round up to ~$71 because Twilio sometimes adds small carrier-pass-through fees that vary by month.

This is a one-time cost. You don't pay it again unless you change your business EIN or register a fundamentally new use case (e.g., switch from wholesaling to a different vertical).

Ongoing monthly costs

Two recurring charges from Twilio:

  • A2P campaign maintenance: ~$10/month. Charged while your campaign is active. Stops if you decommission the campaign.
  • Per phone number: ~$1.15/month. Standard Twilio rental rate for a US local number. If you have 4 numbers (Scale tier), that's ~$4.60/mo.

These also live entirely on Twilio's invoice, separate from your InsertLead subscription.

Why Fast Track is worth $3

Without Fast Track, A2P 10DLC approval takes 3-4 weeks. Carriers run their own review process and the queue is long. With Fast Track, it usually approves in 3-5 business days.
