InsertLead billing FAQ — what does it cost, what does it not cover?

What's included in the subscription

Your monthly InsertLead fee covers the platform: campaign engine, AI autoresponder, CRM, inbox, dashboards, A2P-compliant template library, six-layer DNC defenses, adaptive throttling, quiet-hours queue, CSV import, dedup, savings tracker, daily message goal ring, morning report banner, and the mobile-ready inbox UI.

All features ship at every tier. Higher tiers unlock more phone numbers and higher daily SMS budgets, not new functionality.

What's billed separately

Twilio bills your Twilio account directly. We never see or markup these charges:

• ~$0.0083 per outbound SMS segment
• ~$0.0075 per inbound SMS
• ~$1.15/month per phone number
• ~$10/month A2P campaign maintenance
• One-time A2P registration: ~$71. Full A2P breakdown.

Anthropic bills your Anthropic account directly. Standard pricing for Claude Haiku 4.5: $1.00 per million input tokens, $5.00 per million output. Cached input is 90% off. Most beta users land at $3-7/month.

Realistic monthly all-in

Worked example for a Starter wholesaler running 2,000 leads/month with ~10% reply rate:

• InsertLead Starter: $49.00
• Twilio (2k outbound + 800 AI follow-ups + 1 number + campaign maintenance): ~$28.00
• Anthropic (Claude Haiku, ~200 conversations × 4 turns): ~$5.00
• Total: ~$82/month

At Empire tier with 10x the volume, the math scales linearly on Twilio + Anthropic but the platform fee plateaus at $399. Compare to bundled platforms charging $497-$1,497/mo where everything is buried in one opaque bill.

Cancellation + data export

Cancel from your billing settings (or by emailing us). Cancellation rules:

• Access continues to the end of your current billing period.
• After that, your account moves to read-only for 60 days.
• During the read-only window, you can log in, export leads / conversations / campaigns to CSV, and reactivate by re-subscribing.
• After 60 days, your data is deleted permanently. Twilio and Anthropic are separate vendors so your numbers, A2P registration, and API key are unaffected.

Refunds and credits

We don't issue refunds for unused time on the current month. The free private beta means there's effectively a multi-week window to evaluate the product before committing to paid use anyway.

If something is broken on our side (e.g., a confirmed outage that blocked you from sending for >2 hours), we credit the next month at our discretion. Email insrtlead@gmail.com with the timeline and we'll work it out.
